Advanced Industrial and Unique Solutions are located in Phoenix, Arizona and cover the southwestern states as manufacturers' representatives for Bulk Material Transfer/Process Equipment. Riverside Engineering is located in San Antonio, Texas and is a leading supplier of heavy-duty shredding equipment and system integration within the recycling and heavy industrial trade. Their electrical controls division is state of the art with many successful installations as references.


Bulk Material Process News

With the assistance and expertise from the process team at Hapman, Advanced Industrial has been awarded the contract for the supply of a MiniVac Pneumatic Conveyor for the transfer of plastics in an electronic component manufacturer. The ultra compact and efficient unit was chosen by the customer instead of other methods of transfer due to the specification of not dumping the container of material prior to transfer. The portable suction wand easily moves from one container to another.

Advanced Industrial was also awarded the contract for the supply of a Hapman Helix Flexible Screw Conveyor for the transfer of food grain to a Blanchard unit at a frozen food supplier. The material was successfully tested on equipment at the factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan and results were no material degradation.


Representative Product Training

Ron Zorn (Vice President Technical Sales) and Rick Barbosa (Technical Sales Specialist) have completed manufacturers' representatives product training from Twin City Fan (www.tcf.com) in Minnesota. TCF is a manufacturer of heavy duty industrial fans for blower applications, exhaust, ventilation, custom designs and many other uses. Twin City Fan services industrial fan applications all over the world, and are also certified for nuclear plant applications. Continual training, product knowledge and updates of new product design is a priority for the Advanced Industrial group.

Dings Magnetic Group (www.dingsmagnets.com) and Advanced Industrial (manufacturers' representative in the Southwest) continues to supply more inline and crossbelt magnets in the mining and aggregate industry. Since 1908, American Pulverizer Company has been manufacturing quality reduction equipment for processing all types of material. With the addition of American Pulverizer, Advanced Industrial completes their line of manufacturers for the process and handling equipment in the heavy-duty industrial industry.

Mr. Randy Smith, V.P. -Technical Services for General Kinematics (www.generalkinematics.com), was in Phoenix, AZ for customer calls, Vibratory 101 classes and 2010 Business Strategy discussions. General Kinematics is a leader in vibratory processing equipment and a principle of Advanced Industrial. Randy Smith and Ron Zorn (Advanced Industrial V.P. Technical Sales) made a courtesy visit to a customer located south of Phoenix who had successfully installed and commissioned a GKC 6x14 Vibratory Screen to handle 400 tph of limestone. Randy Smith also conducted a Vibratory 101 class at a major mine site located in the central Arizona. The customer has been running multiple GKC 8x24 double-deck screens for over 10 years. The GKC Vibratory 101 class effectively addresses the theory and advantages of two-mass natural frequency and is customized to address any questions the participates may have. General Kinematics continues to support the equipment from startup/commissioning to long after the sale.


Representative Product Training

Ron Zorn (Vice President Technical Sales) and Rick Barbosa (Technical Sales Specialist) have completed product training from Domtec International, Tecweigh and Hapman, three of the lines the Advanced Industrial represents in the southwest U.S. territory. Domtech International (www.domtec.com) offers superior design and manufacturing of concrete domes for industrial storage and commercial use. Tecweigh (www.tecweigh.com) offers belt scales, volumetric feeders and weigh belt feeders. Last but not least, Hapman (www.hapman.com) offers their Helix (flexible) screw conveyor, tubular drag conveyor and much more. Advanced Industrial was very impressed with the product knowledge of Mike Hunter (Domtec International), Shane Kilpin (Tecweigh) and Jim Hughes (Hapman). Continual training and updates of new product design is a priority for all involved in the Advanced Industrial group.

This latest addition is the result of continual efforts to represent world class companies. Conn-Weld Industries has a long history of successes in the design and manufacturing of inclined and horizontal screens for de-wateringand size separation. Their high tolerance profile wire decks are of the highest quality one can find. Mike Boyko, President of Advanced Industrial has announced they now represent Scott Equipment Company (www.scottequipment.com) for the southwest U.S. territory. The addition to the Advanced Industrial product line brings one of the finest suppliers of mixers, blenders, dryers and conditioners to the other excellent lines they represent. The Advanced Industrial group will be working directly with Pete Calderon, Account Manager, from of his Texas location.

Mike Boyko, President of Advanced Industrial,announced that Ron Zorn has joined into partnership as Vice President Technical Sales. Ron has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Associates Degree in Engineering Technology and a minor in Art. Prior to joining Advanced Industrial, Ro nhad worked in different engineering capacities and then moved into industrial equipment sales covering the western U.S. and Canada territories. Specializing in bulk material handling and process problem solving, Ron is looking forward to his new endeavor.
